How do I preview a survey?

In the Global Navigation menu, click the Author icon. Then, click the Surveys menu option.

Note: The Global Navigation menu may differ depending on what is enabled in your account.

On the Surveys page, click the name of a survey.

Click the Edit icon.

Note: Once a survey has distributions, it cannot be edited.

Edit survey content as necessary. You can toggle between edit and preview mode for the selected question you are currently viewing [1]. To open preview mode, click the Preview icon [2].

In preview mode, you can view the survey as if you were a user interacting with and taking the survey. Learn more about how users navigate through a survey.

In the header, you can view the survey name [1] and the dimensions for the selected device. Desktop preview is selected by default [2]. Click the Tablet [3] or Phone [4] icon to preview the survey on a different device. To show or hide the header, click the show/hide icon [5].

To leave preview mode and return to the currently selected question in the content editor, click the Preview icon [6].

Note: The Submit and Back to My Learning options are disabled in preview mode.

On the survey details page, click the Preview icon.

Note: Once a survey has distributions, it cannot be edited.

When you are ready to distribute your survey, on the survey details page, click the Add Distribute button.
