How do I limit quiz attempts in a course?

Created by Richard Tobin, Modified on Fri, 13 Mar at 10:44 AM by Richard Tobin

Authors can limit the amount of quiz attempts users can take within a course. The Limit Quiz Attempts option designates the number of times a user can attempt to achieve the required percentage score for all quiz questions.

Users who exhaust their allotted attempts will not be able to retake the course. If the course is part of a program, users will still be able to continue to the next program item.

The default value for the Limit Quiz Attempts option is n/a, which allows users unlimited quiz attempts.
